AS FOR MARCH 17TH WE ARE OFFICIALLY SOLD OUT FOR BOWLING BUT YOU CAN STILL ATTEND!!! There will be plenty of things to get involved with outside of bowling - air hockey, arcade games, face painting, and food!
We are BOWLING THIS YEAR!!! The Lisa Diener Domestic Violence Foundation will host our 3rd Annual Benefit on SUNDAY, March 24th, 2013 from 3-5 pm at Happy Tymes Family Fun Center - less than 10 minutes from the Willow Grove Exit off of the PA Turnpike.
Guaranteed fun for all ages – get involved in bowling or just enjoy the food, drink and place your bets on the great raffle items. The funds raised during the Bowling Benefit will support the two named shelters in the Philadelphia area so that they can help victims keep their pets with their families when they decide to leave. To accomplish this goal, the Lisa Diener Domestic Violence Foundation is partnering with RedRover, a national nonprofit animal protection and education organization. In addition to attending, how can you participate?
- Help us get others to attend! This is an open to the public event and the more people who participate, the more successful we will be in helping local shelters! Please invite your friends, family and neighbors
- Raffle Table: provide a gift certificate, basket of items, or services to be raffled off during the evening. Please contact us if you are interested - all raffle items are needed by Friday, March 8th. Pick ups can be arranged.
- Sponsor a Bowling Lane for $200: your corporate logo prominently displayed on one of the bowling lanes. Individuals or groups of individuals are also able to do this!
- Provide a $25 donation to be a part of our PAW WALL: Have your name displayed on a paw that will be displayed during the event!
- Provide a general donation - you set the amount!: General donations can be made through this Ticketleap site OR by sending a check written out to the Lisa Diener Domestic Violence Foundation, 212 Fairway Road, Ambler, PA 19002. Note that your name will also be featured on the PAW WALL.

Research clearly shows that offenders of domestic violence often have a pattern of abuse involving all members of the household – including children and pets. When victims of domestic violence seek to escape their abusive homes they’re not only faced with the challenge of finding shelter for themselves and their children, but also for their pets. Unfortunately, many shelters do not have the means to house companion animals and many domestic abuse victims are left facing the difficult decision to either leave their pets behind or remain in the abusive environment. Sadly, many victims stay in abusive homes for fear of subjecting their animals to continued abuse, if left behind. Equally disturbing, animals are often left with their abusers to face torture or even death.
The goal of this year's fundraising is to enable victims to leave their batterers without having to leave their pets behind.
